Firstly I need to send big thanks to everyone who posted a comment and voted
on yesterdays rose. Your all way too generous !!
Secondly for the best wishes & good luck for the Socceroos v Italy game. We got out of bed at 1 am
to watch the end of our chances come in those dying minutes...ah well, we did our best!!
My best wishes to those who have teams still going. Because there are a few of you from differant parts of the globe I will only say may the best team win on the day...good luck & thanks to Germany for being a fantastic host nation!!

I should say this image was made by the breeze that caused them to dance just as I took the shot

Looking at these pics I can only say that June should never end Down Under.
Well, and I really feel sorry for your great team. They have contributed so much to the world cup. Hope they send the referee back to where he belongs: Somewhere in the desert!

I was sitting here wondering how you got this perfect effect....now I know. The lucky, well-timed breeze...but I think you had a bit to do with it.

Very nice dof and colours. Sorry for the Socceroos - to lose that way is really hard. They would have deserved the QF much more than the boring Italians!
Elaine (etfitz)26-Jun-2006 22:44

Carole Stevens26-Jun-2006 21:48
Lovely faded shot with the bud pointing to the petals!
Guest 26-Jun-2006 21:37
gorgeous bokeh thanks to that wind - too bad there isn't a slight bit more clarity on the largest flower - but you know - the magic might disappear...
Gary Winters26-Jun-2006 21:32
Dancing blooms...how cool! Neat shot.
Guest 26-Jun-2006 21:29
This fading effect is very appropriate!!
chrisse26-Jun-2006 20:53
The breeze made it a very dreamy image, a bit Hamilton-like, but without the girls (??? Probably time for me to go to bed now).

I really like the slight movement of the petals behind - gives them a painted feel.
Your boys did so well, be proud of them!

In the name of the whole german nation - thank you Laine, you are very welcome! Don`t forget this: The Socceroos are a team under the best eight in the world!!!

And your flower shots are unbeatable in the whole world - this recent one is another proof!
