Fording a River on the Way from the Airstrip to La Paloma Lodge

Costa Rica

It was worse on our return. In fact, the car we were in could not cross and
we had to transfer from a car on one side to a car on the other by walking
(one by one) across an extremely rickety bridge (actually just some salvaged
planks nailed together).
