If you have an excellent memory you may recall that I usually take these from the bottom of the stairs! But I had to pause here on the way out of the outdoor gear shop.

I was in the shop to replace my backpack with a slightly longer one. It was a successful shopping morning - I found something quite similar to what I wanted (but not in this shop). Actually when I walk around the backpack is often nearly empty; but I have a Lowepro EX160 on each side of the waist strap, and this system works extremely well for carrying the camera and 3 lenses comfortably. The backpack provides the shoulder/waist harness system, and If I do want to carry something other than the camera gear, the backpack comes in handy!

Well, it works for me, anyway. I have never seen anyone else with a similar setup ...
