This is a shot from the botanical gardens in Atlanta. It was my favorite shot from that outing.

It was when taken back when I still used my Nikon film camera (i.e. before that picturesque morning when my Nikon D70 was smashed to bits on the rocks in Costa Rica). It is hard to believe I used to have to buy film, load film, shoot only when I knew I had a worthwhile shot, pray for good results, take it in for processing, scan my slides, store my slides in plastic sheets and then find a place in storage for them just in case the digital image was lost.

GOD I LOVE MY DIGITAL CAMERA!!! Thank god my film camera smashed to bits.
