I am a sad soul. I had NO kids today. Someone took them away to the ball park and swimming and more fun so that I could paint my long-neglected deck. Deck is done on the top level, have to brave the ladder tomorrow or maybe the next day when I have the courage. It looks SO much brighter. The thermometer is duct taped up because the dog likes to take it off and use it as a chew toy, sad but true.

I don't like the quiet when the kids are gone.
