The Money Pit
6-19-06

Went to a condo assoc meeting tonight. The hot topic of the night was the pool~seems that years of bad budgeting has lead to heated debates
on how to continue having it open.
Took in b&w because I feel like the whole situation has sucked the beauty right out of it...

A little help from my fellow pbaser DJWixx:

Thanks Dave!

Great shot, Jennifer. Great title and B&W add a perfect tonal quality to the frustration. Well done!!!

Very descriptive shot.
I don't know what climate you are in, but if you can't get a good six months
use out of the thing each year, I'd fill it in.

Absolutely MAGNIFICENT shot, Jen. Full of creativity and meaning. It's awesome to see what new shots you always come up with. Look how many people can relate to the situation that your photo conveys. It's awesome when people can truly connect to one of your photos. :) Keep up the great work! GMV. :)

LOL. Been there, know how that works and how that reveals the other side of otherwise nice people. Excellent perspective.

Great shot - could be the start of a series. There's enough similar issues :-(

I agree with Bill, but I am PS challenged! I can crop really well!

Great shot- gets the message across! I would have used selective coloring on the money probably!!!!!!!

Well composed. It captures what you describe very well. I hope that it all gets sorted out. I'm sure that water has the potential to be refreshing!

Around here they tend to eliminate such issues with a couple truck loads of stones and dirt. Of course that isn't really cheap either.

I'm diving-in despite the budget problems...

(In California, they'd turn it into a skateboard park!)
