On the shore of Cove Lake

Walking the trail back from a wildlife observation deck I came across this guy. He was kind enough to let me get my tripod set and fire off a couple of shots before taking flight.

They usually let me get my gear set up too, then just as I'm turning the camera on they're gone. Great capture, and rare to catch them in this light.
