It seems to me that I am finding many living things in my
butterfly garden, but none of them resemble a butterfly!

An article in our local paper about Purple Martins verified my observations.
PM's don't eat mosquitos as everyone thinks....
they eat butterflies and other insects.
I won't have butterflies until the martins leave in July...but I enjoy them, too, so I can live with it....
but I'm ready for some butterflies.
