We went clamming at Sunset Beach this morning, then drove up to Astoria for breakfast and a visit to the Columbia River Maritime Museum. This is the lightship Columbia (hard to tell isn't it?) It was used as a beacon for many years and was replaced by the light buoy on the left. Another buoy is now on station so these two nautical relics are on display.
