You know...I feel really old. I remember when gasoline was that cheap. I remember Dad giving me a quarter to go get fill the lawn mower gas can. Think I'll go have some prune juice now...

Are those little flowers growing by the glass pane on the pump?

Nice capture, if I had to guess, the last time I saw .34 a gallon was when I first started driving in 1975.

You got a syphon and an oil tanker handy, Robin?

Jeees - I'm movin' to California (as soon as I save up enough for the gas!)

Hahaha! I remember going to the gas station with my dad when I was real young. Every payday he would go there fill the tank, buy a carton of smokes, and still get handed back change from a ten dollar bill.

The Cheapness!!

I recall 25¢ in the early 70s . . . but that was in the midwest, so maybe THAT makes a difference
Thanks for fueling thememory, Robin =)

Excellent capture! I wonder how long this has been sitting there. My husband thinks gas was at 34 cents in the late 60's. I remember it started going up when Nixon was in office. Gosh, are we dating ourselves, too. v
