Brugge is a little miracle, it had been in a kind of hibernation for nearly four centuries, after its golden period, so it has not experienced and industrialization and then it has been wisely decorated during the neo-gothic wave of 19th century.
So now it’s a little universe out of time, in spite of the incredible number of tourists and visitors, it’s still possible to enjoy quiet, amazing and evocative corners and to feel like travelling back to the past.
Then Brugge welcomes us with something that vaguely looks like sunshine and shy blue sky.
Enough to start getting lost in a maze of little street, canals, courtyards with light heart and greedy eyes.
