I found one on a rainy hike in the Chagrin Wildlife area near Cleveland Ohio on 4/15/17. I can share picture!

It's a red eft, the juvenile stage of the Eastern newt. Look up "Eastern newt" in Wikipedia. (I can't post the link.)

I live in the Smoky Mountains on the TN side and saw one of these orange geckos near my house today (3-14-2015). Where was this one? I am not seeing anything on the internet about it. Did you find out anything? Thanks.

We found the same species of gecko. But we can't find any information on it. Do you have any sources we could take a look at? We can't find even one web site relating to him.
