Easily the best deal in town. As you can see from the cars lined up to get in many others know this to be true as well.
The Parkway Theatre is the closest drive in theatre around these parts. Situated in a beautiful section of Tennessee highway that connects Maryville to Townsend (Great Smoky Mountains).
Tonight's TRIPLE feature was in this order Ice Age 2, X-Men 3, and The Sentinel. Wow three movies back to back in one sitting for one fee! Wow, how much you ask? $5 a person! Yes $5 American dollars per person. Me and Abby got in for 10 bucks and later we got a large soda, ice cream and a hot dog for $4.75. So total spent on a TRIPLE feature $14.75 which by the way is $1.25 cheaper than what we normally pay for a single movie in the Knoxville theatres.
Does your town have a drive in? If so load the family up in the car and take in a movie under the stars. One day your kids might thank you for the memory, these places are few and far between and need your support to survive.
