One of the two new lenses I bought was the lensbaby, complete with the macro extension kit. The
Extension kit allows you to focus from up to just 2 inches away from your subject.

Still getting properly to grips with both, but, by this time I was starting to get some results
with it. This was a dahlia taken in the reception area of my hotel.

nicely done, loving my macro kit - but does take some getting used to as you say.

not much of a lensbaby fan but this doesn't have the usual effect (mostly because of the extension tube, I suppose). There is a feeling that the center of that flower is rising up to meet the viewer... exploding even.
