This bird arrived on May 21st. Stayed close to the feeder all day. Loved sitting on the Eastern Red Bud Forest Pansy. The day was very chilly .. ~ 10C. That evening the thermometer dipped to 5C. We have not seen him since, but we're hoping that he is the same bird that stayed nearby last year, and disappeared for ~ 1 week; then gone again for ~ 3 weeks, and finally returned with his family. Here's hoping that we see babies again this year.
