My very first Iris bloomed today. It rained and was windy so I had to sneak out very quickly during a calm period and get this. I cut off the bottom of the bloom but still liked the way this looked. I will get lots more, the first bloom is a moment for me. Did you hear me screaming at my kids to stay away from this flower bed the last few days??
