This male Impeyan pheasant, the Nepali national bird, obliged us with a couple of photo opportunities as we climbed through the woods up to Phortse. You will usually see groups of female Impeyans in these woods and you may also spot musk deer. I'm sorry it's not a particularly sharp image!
