After each mushroom walk, we make an effort to organize our finds into three general groupings: Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes with gills (Agarics) and Basidiomycetes with other spore-bearing surfaces (i.e. polypores, boletes, corals, chanterelles, etc.).
