Westmoreland Sanctuary

This is an edible coral fungus (after cooking) that fruits on debarked wood, often in groups. Again, it seems to be fruiting a bit earlier than we are used to seeing. Notice that the tips of this fungus look like a 'crown' and that is why it is called the Crown-tip Coral. Specimens can get qite large compared with this young one.
