But for the last few days we've been getting plenty of rain - maybe not enough to fill up our ailing reservoirs, but enough to cause a few flash floods. I love the intensity of colours after the rain - everything looks as if it's had a fresh coat of paint ! And these buttercups looked as if they'd been forged of pure gold.
