Problems

Oxford

Plenty at the moment, spotted this and it sums my day up perfectly!

Today was spent at County Hall in Oxford appealing against some suits decision not to allow my children to go to the same school together.
Comes down to lack of money and bad planning, but nobody seems to care!!
Forced out of our catchment due to my eldest special needs, now faced with 2 schools 5 miles appart & expected to start at the same time, let alone having to break the news to them!!

Added with a nasty virus and very painful 'golfers elbow' (not even played for game for over 10months!!)

Only had my point & shoot today, still not feeling very inspired!!

Sorry for ranting on,hopefully tomorrow will be better.
I'll get back to commenting soon as well!

Best of luck with it all - I agree with Ade. Those who shout loudest and most often get the best treatment - shouldn't be like that though. :-((

Not good news mate... I hope the powers that be get things sorted for you...

Nice pad.. and beyond that...they need shootin', the way they treat children and families. Red tape sometimes needs exploding, let alone cutting... We're behind you.

Agree with Ade and Tim: time to get yourself in the papers and on the local radio....
Good luck; and get better soon...!

Ade's right. Families first - red tape last! Unless they said the kids will get better education by being in different schools (and it's not just a lame excuse for bad planning). Anyway - do what's best for them! Hope you are feeling better soon too.

Keep your chin up M8, great reflection and find, red tape is bollocks and we all know it. dont take the decision as final, take it all the way and get it in the local paper. With you all the way. Ade
