1. Duplicate layer
2. Gaussian blur background layer radius of 2.0
3. Clone background over outer edge of young lady's body on background layer to prevent halo from blurred background.
4. Create layer mask on new layer.
5. Select young lady on new layer.
6. Invert selection.
7. Apply black gradient to layer mask for selective focus effect.
8. Invert selection and adjust saturation on young lady.
9. Use Shadow/Highlight to bring out details on left side of face and in hair.
10. Duplicate layer and apply smart sharpen to selection of young lady on new layer.
11. On new layer mask brush 50% opacity 75% flow on face for smoother skin (ease off sharpening).
