In the North Transept is "the one remaining Chantry Chapel".
Traces of a similar chapel can be seen nearby on the east wall of the transept.

"This chapel is known as the Jesus Chapel;
since the church is dedicated to St Mary,
a side chapel cannot be described as a 'Lady Chapel'.
The vaulting of the chapel is Early English."
