CHICAGO OTTAWA & PEORIA RAILWAY CO.
Incorporated in 1902 as Illinois Valley Traction Co., acquired 1904 by Illinois Valley Railway Co., acquired 1909 by Western Railways & Light Co. as subsidiary Chicago Ottawa & Peoria Railway Co. In 1913 became a subsidiary of Illinois Traction Co., which in 1924 formed subsidiary Illinois Power & Light Co. to operate the railways.
