We've been busy since I posted the last picture on Monday. First we added a layer of gravel to cover the
bottom of the pond and each level. Then we filled the pond for the first time, washing down any dirt that had
accumulated under and around the rocks. That water was pumped out, and finally the pond was filled again.
Then the moment of truth. We plugged in the pump and everything worked perfectly!
Next comes landscaping around the pond. Details to follow.....
