Ok, Mikel, here goes; let's see if I can repeat it as it was...
At first, one might think to clone out the outlet because, what purpose does it serve? Is it a mere distraction. Then you start to wonder about this girl in the corner who appears trapped. She seems to have no outlet. But, alas! Yes! Yes, she does... she indeed does have an outlet! :)
I'm musing as to how much that plays on the subconscious. The outlet does indeed call attention to itself, particularly b/c it is on the brightest part of the wall. It seems so obvious that it shouldn't be in the picture that one must start to believe it had to be intentional. There are only two distinct elements to this picture - the girl and the outlet. There must be a reason that the photog left it in, so now it makes people start to wonder about its significance. Maybe she's hiding something under her right hand, there in the dark. She's looking to see if her captor is watching. Will she secretely attempt to put the object into the outlet? For what purpose? To electrocute herself to end her captivity? I think not. She looks healthy - I don't think she's been held there long. Perhaps she will merely short out the circuit and use that as an opportunity to get away.
OK, so my first post wasn't this long. I had to make it worth a rewrite! LOL! ;) Interesting story shot that makes the mind wander. That is a good thing - even if you just didn't happen to notice the outlet when you snapped the frame! LOL! ~ Lonnit
Why were comments erased here? I had a commentary about how nicely the outlet worked for the image, but it has been erased. Is the same immature jerk now erasing my compliments or did someone have an accident? ~ Lonnit
