Talk about "burning the candle from both ends". I just woke up from a nap on the floor. Having walked all the way downstairs to plug more batteries into the charger, I thought I would reward myself by just putting my head down "for a second". About an hour later, I got up!
The nap was much needed because tomorrow Edison and I shoot Dianne and Kevin's wedding. We stopped by the rehearsal tonight to meet more of the family. This was a wonderfully friendly, warm, and energetic collection of personalities. The hour or so I spent with them truly warmed my heart and left me smiling as I drove from the church to the climbing gym. I'll no doubt need to get my rest tonight to keep up with them tomorrow!
