Hey Bernd, here's another one for you. At this race, Varde, (I lived in Dayton Ohio and my Porsche shop was in West Carrollton, Col was but 45 min away) killed the engine in that car. The engine was stamped JLP 2. They later put a spare into it, and I bought that engine blown up for all the 935 K3 parts to make a top fan engine for the street 935 I was building for Jeff Stone. We bought a short block, 3.2 from Kevin Jennette, went through it and then constructed the engine for Jeff's street car which is now George Cox's car in Portland. Dick Silver was a customer of mine and we use to work on his white 930 street car all the time. Clay
