Black Day Never Forget by Stephenal Thakiy

"When you see this one, you're reminded of who we lived among in kakuma camp. The woman, she's from Somalia, and the man is from Burundi, and the guy sitting is from Sudan. This one in particular is really applied to the condition in the camps. They give us one gallon of water to one person for two weeks. They bring food every 14 days and one gallon but that food cannot reach up to 14 days, You eat and maybe five or six days without food and we call them black days" - Atem Aleu

"I know what Black Day means! A black day is when we were in the refugee camps means, we used to get a ration from the United nations which was one meal a day. It is the grace period between when you've eaten all the food and you're waiting for the next one to come. The days you go without food." - Aduei Riak
