Drought

Enysham Lock

Day 94

It's hard to believe that the South East is suffering from a drought, when the UK is famous for its bad weather!

From 1st April, there is now a ban on the use of hosepipes or sprinklers for the watering of private gardens,
or for the washing of private cars, caravans or trailers. It is the first time in 15 years!!

And meanwhile a third of the water they do have for us leaks away through Victorian pipework... Top shot though.

ah yes, but you can still wash your patio with a hose pipe - where's the sense in that? You can wash your patio but not water your plants......talk about stupid legislation....
