Litter

Have I ever told you that this is a pet peeve of mine?
A perfectly cut lawn or field, all green and beautiful.
Then some ****** throws litter on it.
Excuse me, but there is usually a trash recepticle a few feet away.
No consideration for the environment what-so-ever.

Ah, you've hit on a pet peeve of mine too! Fences wearing Wal-Mart bags that blow gracefully in the breeze, a used diaper tossed onto a mall parking lot, roadside litter, trash tossed onto my lawn, and I don't even know who these garbage dumpers are because the people I know don't do this! Maybe it's extra-terrestrials, dumping their trash on earth.

AGREED and completely understood. Pristine landscapes are a myth nowadays. Our society is raising/tolerating a group of lazy SOB's. I see this happen everyday, people just think someone will pick up after them or that it does't matter. It sickens me. Just yesterday I saw a nicely dressed business woman walking through town carring a fast food bag and eating her lunch. Seconds later she just throws the bag to the ground, on the sidewalk, just two steps away from a trash bin. I was sitting at a traffic light, beeped my horn, she looked as if to say, 'what'? 'whats your problem???.
Anyway, thanks for bringing this to light, it hit a nerve. Some people have NO respect for others, for what God and Mother Nature have loaned us, or for themselves.

One of my pet peeves too. Fortunately here we have so many people on probation required to perform community service cleaning up this mess it's not usually a problem. How hard is it to dispose of trash properly?
