The image is interesting, but it's the title that really makes it compelling - the title makes you take another look at the man, almost to feel sorry for him in a way. Really well seen. A big vote!

A typical Kal Khogali image. Very well taken and framed.

Oh... well, all this repetition made by the shoes, almost like an abstract pattern, but of course it's not abstract... The scene on the right side is somehow mysterious.

This has an odd kinship with Degas' "La danceuse aux chasson," that's why the image is so rich. Again, bravo!!!

Interesting how there does not appear to be a reflection of the man in his own mirror. I do think that is a mirror. he also seems to have a shoe box cover over the part of the mirror that would show the reflection of his own foot but he cannot see it. Odd. He appears to worship his foot but cannot see himself doing it. Also with the history of foot binding in China the shot is thought provoking. Although, the practise is supposed to be rare today. V

What makes a big difference is your perfect capture of the man busy with his foot. Perfect fit for the title! Well spotted.

What makes your photography so endearing is not only the changing lifestyles of the people or the intimate genuine moments but also the uncommon driving thoughts behind the curtain of every image.Brilliant statement.I worship your work :)
