Interesting what one does NOT hear on the news. Last week a young man shot a Kansas City Police officer. Today the PD spotted him running through our neighborhood. Yes, camper, right past our house. First alerted by seeing the 18th police car in a mater of minutes, we waited over an hour as the chopper buzzed and the manhunt continued.

Did they get him? We don't know. We left after an hour and a half and haven't heard a peep from the rest of the media.
