Neurobasis chinensis chinensis

Ho Chung

This stunning demoiselle was new to me on my regular walks. According to Wilson it is declining in HK due to environmental destruction but can still be found on clean remote streams. It emerges in April (OK, I found mine on March 31st) and has a long flight season. I would not describe Ho Chung as remote (!) but it is listed as a site for this species in Wilson.
