Masters Trophy 34 years in competition.
Donated in 1981 by Ray Cheys & Reg Pinette.
The Masters Trophy is awarded to the member who shoots the highest amount of points in the season, but only counting what we call the ‘Big Birds’. The big birds are on the top two bars (including the king) of the fork. A fully loaded fork consists of these big birds: 1 – King bird (4 points), 2 – Side birds (3 points each) and 4 – Kulla birds (2 points each). The remaining 30 – Single birds (1 point each) do not count for this trophy. All shootings (except the Canadian Championship 10 Arrows and the MPAA prize shoot) count towards The Masters Trophy. Up until 1998, it also excluded Robin Hood’s prize shooting, which is now included.
