Navarre Beach Restoration Project
Ohio Street Area (3 miles west of the Fishing Pier)
Happy Home Owner at Navarre Beach
My Navarre Beach Restoration Project photo gallery includes the image above of Art Loeloffelman, an elderly gentlemen sitting on his deck watching a mountain of sand moving his way. Mr. Loeloffelman’s home has been photographed and published in local newspapers over the past few weeks where the photos showed extensive sand erosion under his home. He has been interviewed by the local TV stations. Mr. Loeloffelman is a prince of a man and I thoroughly enjoyed his company. While shooting photos from his deck for about an hour, I would here him say about every 5 minutes “I sure am glad to see that sand out there, because I thought I was going to lose my home”. Each time I told him I was glad to see it, too.
Mr. Loeloffelman is a war veteran from World War II.
