This is the back of the painting with natural light shining through the canvas.
This morning one of our PBasers, Joshua Mayer, surprised me with a birthday gift of an oil painting of Mamma and Papa Swan that we had so much fun photographing before Hurricane Katrina.We think that Papa Swan was killed in Katrina and Mamma Swan has disappeared
He commissioned the painting from another PBaser, Donnaray. It is a photo that Joshua took in June, 2004.
I am deeply touched by Joshua's generosity and Donna's talent. Thank you again, Joshua.
