This stove has been on most all my major outdoor trips throughout my life. I bought this stove in 1972 with my paper route money and used it 5 years later to walk Mexico to Canada and still have and use it today. Like an old hiking pal, you never tire of it. It have travel over 10,000 miles of trails and river, outlasted 8 autos, 3 houses, 7 girlfriends and 2 wives. Can't beat that for being dependable. I wish all things were as well made and depend as my Old Optimus!!!!!!!
