angkor

This was one of my favorite shots of the trip.It was taken one early morning at the top of angkor wat after morning prayers. The man in the front had been carrying banana trees up the steep stairs to the top of angkor wat for some sort of ceremony. A feat that was remarkable to watch.
Even though I was shooting from quite a distance as to not disturb, they were quite aware of me and my camera and though they kept their faces out of view for most of the time, in this one instance he happened to look up to see if I was still there. I walked up to them and thanked them afterwards.

thanks robert..this is one of my favorite shots from the trip. I couldn´t beleive my eyes when I stumbled into it. It really payed off to wakeup early and beat the tourists. Not much PS work here, except for a little neatimage to clean the noise and adjustment of the lvls. They were quite aware of me shooting, eventhough I was all the way accross the courtyard and he just happened to look up to see if I was still there.
Thanks again, it means quite a bit coming from you

Tremendous shot. The PS treatment is perfect. Great colors, good lighting and such an interesting scene. The stone, the cloth and the people all add so much to this image. Great job.
