I stopped on the way home to see the 100 head of elk that generally drift down from the mountains at this time of year - they should be around for a few weeks. Unfortunately they weren't close enough for a good shot, or power lines were in the way, so I took a picture of the gate at the ranch entrance I pulled into. It was a clear blue sky, but given the cross, it seemed to be more appropriate making the shot a little moodier!!
