Seeeee .... no glass, no backlighting :) Yeah, I did fall back on my beloved white background, but nobody's perfect, right? Loosely inspired by DPC's shoe challenge (although I don't think I will be entering) I figured it was time for my well-worn shoes that I wore pretty much all of last year (at least while I wasn't at work) to make an appearance on my PAD. These days, since no one sees me at work (one of the benefits of working from home), I even wear them to work. Ultracomfortable, but really not fit to be seen in public anymore :)

My goal for today was to try and bring out the texture. Did another channel-mixer-conversion to black and white, toned, then applied an adjustment layer with softlight, which really surprisingly helped bring out some of the texture. :)
