Blue-black Grassquit

This grassquit kept drawing attention to itself through its aerial display. It repeatedly flew straight up from its perch and landed back on the same spot.

I love this shot!! The lighting on the plant, the spider's web, and the grassquit make such a great environmental photo. Very nice.
