This is a macro of the tip of an icicle as it dripped away. It was melting quite furiously. The original is a bit paler, and I exaggerate the inner structure somewhat with sharpening in PS, but essentially it remains as shot. I found it a bit fascinating that it almost resembled an xray of a human limb. It's weird, it's different, but I'm not sure it's interesting enough except to me.
