Hi, I am 76 years old and my friend is one year younger. both us enjoy many Persian Prose and Poetry. My friend wants to record the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam (ÑÈÇÚیÇÊ ÚãÑ ÎیÇã). We have downloaded much Persian Midi music and now we require an extensive range of well taken photos. When we have finished, we intend to make a DVD Slideshow and sistribute it along with otheres we have made to hospitals for the aged. Are you able to help us please. Let me add my compliments to the list here! I love this shot beacause it really shows the man deep in thought and we have to wonder what about. He may be reflecting on his past, or he may be wondering what he has to buy on his grocery list that he left at home. In any case, and whatever he is meditatively thinking about, it shows real character of this man. And I love the sneakers too. He looks pretty comfortable in them even though they are "foreign" to his dress in his country. Congratulations on a fine photograph!! GMV

these are difficult.the sense of guilt in even taking the image can be a burden.but this works, the sense of two different worlds,dependent upon each other, yet oblivious.

I respectfully disagree with Sari - I think the sneakers add to the shot - gives it an element of surprise.

Good shot. I wish he was wearing something old on his feet, or anything but sneakers. Also, I think the picture would be better if it is rotated to fix the tilt and if more of the door was showing. It would look like he's waiting for doors to open.
