A dog will look at our finger when we point at the moon. (the lesson of budhist monks about levels of consciousness). However, people will usually look up to where the master is pointing. Therefore, this trick works well for deflecting attention away from ourselves. In this way we can remove chips (french fries) from the lunch plates of our friends who are looking up ;-)

A wise proverb, and the perfect image to match it. You're a pro, Kal.

Stunning! I love the light. I love even more the perspective effect, which makes towers and people seem to have similar sizes. Perfect exposure time too, I like the slight movement of the people in the background.

eh.... being a chinese shot, i would also think of the famous proverb "When a finger points to the moon..."

But isn't the same thing with photographs? Consider what happens when a tourist shows the locals a Polaroid shot --- the picture (images in miniature) becomes a magical object of curiosity, to be looked at and touched like an amulet. You have captured a parallel experience so brilliantly. Bravo!!!

You've caught this group's interest perfectly with the passersby bringing them closer. The touch of light on the holder's face gives the object a magical presence. The object wouldnt happen to be a scale model of the pearl tower behind them would it? Ridiculously good!
