Welcome to the Challenge Robin; it's really all about fun, sharing, and learning. Some may get more votes than others but if we can learn something new or help someone else, we're all winners!
I really like your image! That dog is so cute and it's just perfect for this challenge! As for critique, if you can edit the image you might want to consider removing the green plant part (bamboo?) in the background. I've taken the liberty of putting an example in the Demo folder. While I was at it, I lightened the dog's eye and cropped a little as well. Keep in mind that any such suggestions are simply a matter of personal preference. Your image looks very nice just as it is.

That is really an unusual seat, but it seems to be the perfect one! :-) Very well captured.
Personally I would prefer a squared frame, as you can easily cut the left and right and I think it would even make the picture more efficient.

I love this image. Not only is the dog really cute in her colorful coat, but the quality of the image is also first rate! I notice your exposure was two seconds. Now that's a cooperative subject!
