A bit abstract for my philistine tastes (give me sailing boats and pretty girls people - Postcards R Us) but the colours are so fine, and go so well with the grain I can't stop loving it.

Thanks both of you. LOL, did anyone see how many times i changed this image? I chose about four, none of which I'm really happy with, and whichever one I loaded into pbase, the others looked better. They've all suffered with reduction for web (some images just don't translate across well into browsers that don't retain ICC profiles). i felt i was scraping the bottom of the barrel, but what the heck, I've got three in both galleries, so every one helps to pad the galleries out for Louis (not that that's an issue now, as more images have come in). Anyway, thanks again. I'm going to try the techniquee again, see if i can perfect it. I really need an old filter than will fit my Oly lenses, but of course they're a different thread to my Nikons. Flick.

Yes it did snow and this was so nice to see today! I love this Flick. It's very warm and I love the pastels in it. I like water color and this gives a very water color appearance. I like that the subjects in this are there and you have to look then see them. I think this would be lovely in a bedroom. I would like this printed 16x20 for my birthday please. ;o)

Flick, Interesting effect. The colors are all light and warm. Got me wishing for spring and feeling sorry for myself - it snowed here today. - brent
