This image was taken just west of The Cottonwood Ranch on the Colorado River. Following highway 128 from I-70, through the quaint town of Cisco, south then east into Moab, Utah.
This bend, along with the original "Dewey Bridge", mark, in my mind, the begining of the 'Canyons of the Colorado'.
Perhaps that is why they call it Castle Valley. Think?.
