I wanted everything excluding the yellow flowers to be dual-tone instead of black and white, but since I didn't know how to do dual-tone in PS yet, I'll settle for BW.
Was going for a whole lifeless setting revolving a pair of little yellow flowers.

wow.. great composition. the lines of the jagged tree leads to the flower. i'm uncomfortable with the overexposed foreground. it's almost graphic and not photographic. yeah selective color....i'm biased. i don't like intense color or color photos just done on black and white. it looks strange. but what a great first attempt :)
