Don't fence me in*2

Palace of Fine Arts

Wanted a pic of this fabulous building and look what I found!!!!! You make do with what you have. I did stand on a garbage can to try and shoot over the fence with my husband hanging on to me. That would have been the photo to see!!

Beautifully done, Denise. Excellent color and clarity, and great subject and framing. I used to drive by this every day on my way to work, so very nostalgic for me. Helen

Denise, I might not be objective any longer ... but for me the picture turns from good to great! :-)

Very well done, Denise! I love this combination of the fence and the beautiful building. It was a fantastic idea to capture this. * One remark on the framing. I would prefer if the building itself would be more centered. Right now there is too "much room" on the right side. For me this is a little disturbing, as the light comes from the left hand side and you could easily make it a perfect square. Also an additional frame around the picture (in the color of the building) would work nicely IMO.

Very realistic, Denise. It appears as if we are standing in front of this building. Good work!

The way you have turned a constraint to your advantage is purely clever. You gone there with the intention of making a picture of a nice building with a classical composition, you have returned with an unusual composition of it. Nice job because the result works well.
